Spa Packages

The ultimate in pampering, our spa packages include a variety of rejuvenating and relaxing spa treatments over the course of several hours. Refreshments are included in the Half-Moon and Full-Moon Indulgences. For details of each spa treatment, please refer to descriptions of individual services.

Half-Moon Indulgence (3 1/2 hours) Luxuriate in a half day of pampering. Start this treat with a manicure, followed by a relaxing pedicure. Enjoy an herbal tea and a light snack while soaking your feet. Next, your skin is prepared with a full body dry brush to stimulate circulation, followed by an exfoliating body scrub and a one-hour massage. A half-day package can be scheduled to begin at either 9 a.m. or 1 p.m.	$160
Full-Moon Indulgence (8 hours) A complete day of pampering, renewing your mind, body and soul. The morning begins with a paraffin spa manicure, followed by a paraffin spa pedicure and reflexology. Detoxifying herbal tea and a light snack are served during the pedicure. Lunch is included--your choice of healthy salads served in Barefoot Cay’s private poolside dining area. The afternoon schedule is a total body regeneration treatment, which includes an exfoliation scrub followed by a mud cocoon with heat application. The day ends with a luxurious hour-and-a-half massage. A full moon day can be scheduled to begin at 8 or 9 a.m.	$300

Full-Body Treatments

Scent-Sational Dead Sea Body Scrub (45 minutes) Including a one-hour massage (105 minutes total) Your body is dry-brushed to prepare your skin for the scrub of your choice. The lavender, lemon grass, or exotic fruit salt scrubs or chocolate sugar scrub is applied and rubbed into your skin. The Dead Sea scrubs are designed to exfoliate, while grape seed, safflower, sunflower, apricot kernel, and other oils moisturize and nourish your skin. Your skin is left feeling baby-soft and smooth.	$50 $110
Mud Cocoon (45 minutes) Including a one-hour massage (105 minutes total) After a thorough exfoliation, the entire body is wrapped in a deliciously warm Moor Mud or Sedona Mud. The mud contains thousands of plant extracts and trace elements. Cocooned in a thermal covering with heat application for detoxification and nutrient absorption, you’ll relax for 25 to 30 minutes as the sterile mud draws out impurities and stimulates circulation. Total Body Regeneration - Body Scrub, Mud Cocoon, massage (150 minutes) The Dead Sea Body Scrub of your choice is applied and rubbed over your body, as above. After the scrub is rinsed off, the Mud Cocoon of your choice is applied to the entire body for ultimate detoxification. The treatment finishes with a 60-minute massage after the mud cocoon has been rinsed off.	$160
SkinMedica Soothing Relief Sunburn Treatment (15 minutes) The wonderful warmth of the Caribbean sun can leave unprepared skin with a painful burn. If you’ve spent too much time in the sun and your skin needs some care, this sunburn treatment, consisting of a body spray followed by a moisturizing cream application, will work wonders. Complete serenity will overcome you and your significant other as our expertly trained therapist utilizes the natural elements of essential oils to invigorate, stimulate, and awaken your senses. The treatment room is softly lighted with candles and the air is infused with Ylang Ylang. Or choose the option of having the therapist teach each of you how to massage the other.	$140

Medi-Spa Facials and Peels

All facials offered are part of the SkinMedica line, available exclusively in physicians’ offices and medi-spas. SkinMedica products are comprised of a proprietary mix of multiple human growth factors, soluble collagen, matrix proteins, antioxidants, and other ingredients, which deliver visible improvement in hyper pigmentation, the appearance of wrinkles, and an overall increase in skin firmness. The SkinMedica recovery complex has been shown to dramatically rejuvenate aging and sun-damaged skin. All facials include hand and foot massages during the application of the masque. SkinMedica products are available for sale at the Barefoot Spa.

Barefoot Cay Signature Facial (75 minutes) Professional techniques and products are used to remove toxins from the inner layers of the skin, allowing it to breathe and function properly, thus enhancing the effectiveness of your daily skin care regimen. After a careful skin analysis, you will enjoy the facial that suits your skin type. Following the facial, you'll receive a vitamin C treatment. Our signature facial extends the treatment to include the neck and décolletage.	$120
Calming Facial: Soothe red, irritated, sensitive skin with this anti-inflammatory facial that is designed for oily, congested, or acne-prone skin. Specially formulated botanical extracts help to restore the skin's natural pH and alleviate redness. A cooling gel masque works to deep clean skin by combining the aromatic benefits of natural camphor, rosemary, tea tree, cinnamon, and menthol to aid in oil absorption. Soothing properties of green tea, chamomile, marshmallow, and Alpha Bisabolol work together to calm and relieve inflamed skin. This treatment leaves the skin moisturized and feeling soft and radiant. Ulimate TNS Facial: This facial includes our exclusive SkinMedica TNS products for rejuvenation and anti-aging benefits. Dr. Guillermo Peña Cabus, noted Plastic Surgeon of San Pedro Sula on the mainland, visits the Barefoot Cay Resort Spa several times a year to perform Botox and filler treatments for Roatan clients and visitors. Appointments may be made in advance. Please inquire at the resort guest services office or by e-mail to Info@BarefootCay.com for appointments and estimated pricing. When he is at the Barefoot Cay Resort Spa, Dr. Peña is also available for consultation for procedures that would be performed at his clinic in San Pedro Sula.
