Whether you’re searching for an ideal place for a Caribbean wedding for just the two of you, or you’re envisioning a beach wedding with a group of family and friends, Barefoot Cay Resort can make your wedding dreams come true. With a maximum occupancy of 26, you may have an entire resort to yourself for your wedding celebration! All you need to bring is the bride and groom; we’ll take care of the rest.
Package 1: Intimate Wedding
Our ‘intimate’ package is a destination wedding for just the two of you, and perhaps a few close friends or family members you bring along to celebrate. Select your favorite spot on the cay to exchange vows, whether on the beach, out on the palapa, or up in the observation deck with sweeping views. The package includes decoration of the site; a bouquet for the bride, and a boutonniere for the groom made of tropical blooms; a one-hour photo session with a photographer and a disc of unedited photos; and the blessing ceremony (a legal ceremony can be arranged for an additional fee). Following the ceremony, a single layer cake, in either a heart or round shape, is served along with a bottle of champagne for toasting. Intimate Wedding package: $675.
Package 2: Share the Love
This wedding package is a great option if you’ll be bringing down a group to help you celebrate your Caribbean wedding. To prepare you for your wedding day, you and your future spouse will enjoy a couples massage and romantic candlelight dinner for two the day before the wedding. For your wedding, you can choose your favorite spot on the cay, and we’ll set it up the aisle and the ceremony spot. A bouquet of tropical blooms is provided for the bride, and a boutonniere for the groom. This package includes a one-hour photo session with a photographer and a disc of unedited photos; the photographer can stay longer or add video for an additional fee. After the blessing ceremony is performed (a legal wedding can be arranged for an additional fee), your choice of 3 appetizers are served, along with 2 bottles of champagne for toasting, and a two-tier wedding cake. 'Share the Love' wedding package: $1075.
Package 3: 'Exclusively Yours' Private Island Wedding Package
The ultimate experience, where you have the entire cay - your own private island - to yourself and your wedding party and lucky guests. Reserve all 9 accommodations at the resort (2 bungalows, 2 villas, and 5 lofts), and have a staff of 35 people entirely at your disposal. Your own private dining service, your own private pool, your own private spa, your own private paradise*! This package is based on 26 guests, but if you have a larger wedding group and are booking all our accommodations, additional guests may stay elsewhere on Roatan and come for the ceremony and reception (additional charges apply for each additional guest), to a maximum of 60 wedding guests.
This wedding package includes a 3 night stay with occupancy of 26 guests (2 per bedroom), and includes airport transfers; welcome drink; fruit platter in each accommodation on arrival; champagne on ice for the bride and groom; 3 meals daily with lemonade, iced tea, coffee and water; wedding ceremony complete with aisle and site decoration (legal wedding extra); bouquets of tropical blooms for the bride and maid of honor; boutonnieres for the groom and best man; steel pan band for bride entrance and ½ hour performance after the ceremony; 4 bottles of champagne for post-ceremony posting served with an array of appetizers; a special wedding dinner; 6 bottles of house wine during dinner; 2 well drinks or beers per person during the reception; a two-tier wedding cake; up to 3 hours of professional photography (a surcharge may apply for specific photographers); your choice of reception entertainment of either fire dancers or a Garifuna performance; and midnight munchies. Price includes all taxes and a basic gratuity of 10%, so you can leave your wallet at home! Are all your guests taking care of their own expenses? No problem. - 2010 low season package: $14,380. To extend your stay, add $4,435 per night, including meals.
- 2010 high season package: $16,495 To extend your stay, add $5,211 per night, including meals.
- 2011 low season package: $16,050. To extend your stay, add $4,541 per night, including meals.
- 2011 high season package: $18,595. To extend your stay, add $5,387 per night, including meals
- Stay for 7 nights, and the last night is ½ price!
*Our small, private marina may have a few guests who could be present at the resort pool or dining area. The marina and cay are not open to the general public, so you are assured of privacy.
Your Caribbean wedding should be a unique reflection of the couple exchanging vows, so we’ve left plenty of options to add in to for your own special signature. Whether you’d like to have a steel pan band perform, have fire dancers, head out on a sunset sail, or get married underwater, we can help to make your wedding dreams come true. Other options including wedding dinner and rehearsal dinner, pampering for the bride and her bridesmaids with our spa services, photography and videography services, and several different choices of live entertainment. Weddings at Barefoot Cay Resort are only available when booked with a minimum 3 night stay.
Barefoot Cay brides and grooms receive extra-special treatment throughout the planning process right through to the ceremony, reception, honeymoon, and even future anniversaries. Couples who have their wedding ceremony at Barefoot Cay receive a complimentary stay during their wedding anniversaries spent at the resort: with 6 paid nights, the 7th night is free!
