Barefoot Cay has four guest bungalows that are right on the beach. Two bungalows have one bedroom and two bungalows have two bedrooms.  All the bedrooms are spacious with desk, dresser and window seat and all feature the ultra-comfortable Heavenly Beds.  The bathrooms are well designed with large Balinese partially open-air showers.  Each bungalow has a well-equipped kitchen with bar and a covered deck overlooking the Caribbean Sea.  The two-bedroom bungalows also have a living room that opens onto the large covered deck with wide steps to the beach.  The tropical bungalows are designed to make use of the breezes, views and proximity to the sea. Stay a few days, or a few weeks, and find comfort in the unique architectural design. Fall asleep to the distant waves breaking on the reef, then later glimpse the orange morning sun peeking through the high open ceiling. Curl up with a good book on the window seat or swing in a hammock shaded by palm trees. You'll walk out of the bungalows to the covered porch, then right onto the white sand beach.

The two-bedroom bungalows are configured with two identical master bedroom suites, each with two queen size beds. Each master bedroom includes a spacious bathroom with a Balinese shower and a separate entry including a small deck with bench. On one wall of the bedrooms there is a desk, window seat, and dresser with TV/VCR/DVD. On that wall and on the front wall there are large wood louvered windows that look out onto the beach. The two master bedrooms are on each side of the central area that has a kitchen and interior living area that opens wide onto a large deck. The entries to the bedrooms are on opposite sides of the building, so each master bedroom is private. The walls on both sides of the central area are extra thick and insulated and the door locks are configured so that either of the master bedrooms can locked-off from the central living area. This is so one master bedroom can be rented as a suite with kitchen, interior living area and large deck (which we refer to as a Suite) and the other master bedroom can be rented without the central living area (which we refer to as a Master Bedroom).

The Heavenly Beds in the one-bedroom bungalows can be configured as a king-size or two extra long twins.  A rollaway twin-size bed or queen-size air mattress are available for an extra guest.

The bungalows have ceiling fans and are also air conditioned for those days when the trade winds are lazy. The kitchens include an eating bar, full-size refrigerator with ice-maker, microwave oven, stovetop, toaster-oven, coffee grinder/maker and blender, as well as quality cookware, utensils and serving ware. A barbecue is also available. The purified water is potable from the tap. Each bedroom has a 24" TV-DVD-VCR and free cable TV. WI-FI satellite Internet is available on the entire Cay, in addition to a hard-wire connection at the desk in each bedroom of the guest bungalows.  The spacious Balinese showers provide a unique experience with semi-open roofs.

Food and beverage service is available for our guests in the Pool Cabana. Our meal service can be for all or just some meals and the meals can be served either in the Cabana or in the guests' bungalow. Many of our guests have some meals here, as well as enjoying some of Roatan's restaurants and preparing some meals in their bungalows. Other guests have us prepare all of their meals. The decision can be made on a day-to-day basis. We serve a variety of preparations that include local specialties, such as shrimp lobster and fish, as well as chicken and other meats.
