Valet Diving for certified diver

Barefoot Divers is located just minutes away from Mary’s Place, one of Roatan’s most famous dive sites, with stunning volcanic-formed crevices and overhangs. Many of the other sites in our area (there are over 30 within a 5-20 minute boat ride) feature dramatic reef walls that start in the shallows and drop off far beyond recreational dive limits. The south shore offers vibrant reefs and incredible biodiversity - from macro to pelagics.

We offer small groups, and all dives are guided by experienced PADI professionals for your safety & enjoyment. Fresh fruit, water & towels are provided on the boat.

Daily Dive Boat Departure times

8:30 a.m. | 10:30 a.m. | 2:00 p.m.

Each trip is a 1-tank dive; diving subject to weather conditions

Divers should be at the dive shop 20 minutes prior to dive boat departure

Valet Diving

Rates are per person per dive, and include tanks & weights (15% tax apply).

Guests of Barefoot Cay Resort may purchase dive packages (booked and prepaid in conjunction with a resort stay) or dive a la carte (payable at checkout). Specific days and trips do not need to be reserved in advance of your stay, however please contact us prior to your trip via the contact button above if you plan to dive a la carte so that our dive team can be expecting you.

Dive guests not staying at the resort must prepay diving in order to reserve space; walk-ins always welcome but subject to availability.

For dives cancelled by dive staff due to weather, either a pro-rated credit or a refund will be issued to the guest

Marine Park Fee

Applied once per person per booking. Proceeds directly support the Roatan Marine Park's reef and marine life conservation efforts

Nitrox (EANx 32)

Per fill per person (15% tax apply). Must have Enriched Air Diver certification (see Advanced Courses) to dive with Nitrox.

Private Guide

(15% tax apply) Mandatory for divers with Scuba Diver rating or Junior Divers ages 10-11 due to 40' depth limit; also available for divers who require some extra-attention.

Night Dive

Per person surcharge (15% tax apply). Scheduling subject to weather; 4 diver minimum. Dive torch rental is an additional $ 8.

Refreshers

A great way to tune up your scuba diving skills, which can get rusty quickly when you’re not diving regularly. To ensure that all divers as well as the dive lead have a safe and comfortable diving experience, certified divers who have been out of the water for twelve months or more should take a refresher course before participating in recreational dives.

Refreshers are a 2-hour confined water session focusing on refreshing basic in-water dive skills; with ReActivate, dive theory is reviewed in advance via PADI eLearning (purchased separately from the PADI website).

Rental Dive Equipment

(15% tax apply) If you don't have your own gear, or would prefer to lighten your luggage, we have well-maintained ScubaPro dive equipment available for rent. Private lockers are provided at the dive shop.
